# Top 10 Perth

> Specific, well-researched Top 10 lists about Perth places, services and local life, checked by someone who lives here.

Top 10 Perth is an independent site written by a Perth local, Jan de Waal. Each guide answers one specific Perth question and ranks places on criteria set before the research starts, such as fencing, toilets, shade, cost and parking. Some places are known from our own visits; the rest are researched through recent Google reviews, Perth Reddit threads and local guides, with hours, prices and access checked against the venue or council website. Star ratings never decide the order. Rankings are editorial: there is no paid placement or sponsorship. Every guide shows the month it was last checked.
