About Top 10 Perth

Search for something specific in Perth and you usually get one of three things: a list written for tourists, a directory that lists everyone who paid, or an article that could have been about any city. None of them tell you whether the beach will be blown out by 2pm, whether you can see the playground from your table, or whether the removalist will even come south of the river.

Top 10 Perth exists to answer those questions properly.

What We Publish

Every list starts with a narrow, real question. Not "the best cafés in Perth", but the cafés where you can watch the kids on the playground while your coffee is still hot. Narrow questions get useful answers.

Each place on a list comes with the details that decide it: parking, shade, wind, pram access, service area, hours, or whatever matters for that question. If we can't make a list more useful than what already exists, we don't publish it.

Who Writes It

Top 10 Perth is researched and written by a Perth local. It is a small, independent site, not a tourism body, not a directory and not a content farm. Some places on a list we know from our own visits. For the rest we go to people who have been: recent reviews, local forums and family guides, checked against the venue's own website. Every list shows the date it was last checked.
